Finding Inspiration AT Every Turn
Every year, artists across North Yorkshire open their studios for a few special weekends, inviting visitors to step into their creative worlds. It's a rare opportunity to see where the magic happens — from paintbrushes in action to the finished masterpieces on display, ceramic, printmaking, jewellery making and more. Whether you're a curious art lover or someone dreaming of pursuing your own creative path, these open studios offer an inspiring glimpse into the life of an artist.
This year, six who live Harrogate artists will be taking part.
You’ll find a helpful map and suggested routes available well before the event to help you plan your visit. It's a wonderful way to spend a day exploring the area, discovering new inspiration, and connecting with the creative community.
Among the participating artists is Frances, who is excited (and a little nervous!) to be joining the Open Studios for the first time. She's hard at work preparing her home and studio to welcome visitors and can't wait to share her paintings, her creative process, and some refreshments with you. She's hoping whatever the weather your visit memorable as you stroll between studios.
